Whether you're interested in a maternity session, newborn session, or family session. I would be thrilled to serve you during this special time! I am here to help you plan your sessions every step of the way. From choosing the perfect date to selecting magazine-worthy styles and jaw-dropping locations.

LET's CONNECT

Most of my maternity and family sessions take place outdoors at sunset, but you may prefer to have your session at your home. 

Newborn sessions are always done inside your home. If your home does not have ample natural light, lacks minimalist decor and white walls, or if you'd rather not have to tidy up, then outdoor is also an option if you prefer if weather permits!

LOCATION

As a KPP client, you have exclusive access to my Client Closet! I have curated the gowns in my Closet to fit and flatter mamas perfectly, even if you are expecting or postpartum. If you are booking a milestone sessions for you little one, I also have outfits for babies 6-12 months! 

When your retainer and signed agreement are complete, you'll also receive the link to my Style Guide. I offer many tips and guidelines for choosing the perfect colors, styles, and flattering fits for everyone in the family!

waRDROBE STYLING

Outdoor maternity sessions will begin approximately two hours before sunset and includes time for two outfits for mama.

Newborn sessions last 90 minutes to 3 hours, depending on which session you choose. I always suggest having a close friend or family member with you to help with the toddlers and pets.

Family sessions last 45 minutes approximately 1 hour before sunset and includes time for one outfit for mama.

The SEssion

All images from our sessions are typically delivered within about 30 days of the shoot date via an online gallery. This gallery will allow you to share your favorites with family, order prints and even download images to share on social media. 

Your gallery will remain active for 1 year.

DELIVERY

There is something so tangible about holding your printed images in your hands and your images deserve to be printed!

You can select from many prints options right from the "shop" tab in your gallery - making it easy to order the highest quality images on the market. 

I also currently offer custom-designed heirloom albums and gallery wall designs. I will work with you to make sure your artwork is  exactly how you want it. This will remove the stress off of you and give you time back, so you can just enjoy the memories with your family!

There is nothing quite like an open field at sunset. I have favorite locations in the area, but I'm always willing to try something new! I love wide open, natural landscapes without buildings or structures to distract from the most important part of the image--the people!

The Duke Mansion, is a beautiful historic space in Charlotte, NC making it a beautiful location for a portrait session. Sessions can be scheduled here on Sunday or Monday and does require a $350 location fee.

Soft colors and fabrics with a little texture photograph beautifully on your most precious little ones. Some of my favorite places to shop for kids are H&M, Zara, Shop Dôen.

For the Littles

Light-colored neutrals complement my style of photography the best. White, ivory, blush, tan, champagne, pale blue, soft gray, and khaki shades are ideal. My Client Closet is full of gowns in these tones so all you have to worry about is dressing the rest of your family.

Lifestyle sessions are some of my favorite because they capture your family as it currently is. You will have posed, smiling photos but also the beautiful candids that show the connection and love between your family. I am drawn to those beautiful, chaotic, sweet and giggly mundane moments that happen naturally in our session.

what if my baby is born early or late?

Because I only book a small number of babies each month, I'm able to serve my clients within the ideal time frame for newborn photos with no issue. Pre-booking your session months in advance will ensure that your newborn session will happen no matter when your baby decides to arrive

I do! I typically offer seasonal mini sessions- one in the Fall for families and one in the Spring for mamas and their kids.

do you offer mini sessions?

I’m a mama to three girls under the age of three so I know from experience that sessions feel like total chaos. Trust me, it won’t show in your photos! One reason I ask you to fill out the pre-session questionnaire is to help me get to know what makes your kids laugh and if they are slow to warm up to new people. We do a lot of playing and exploring during our session, and can take breaks when needed, so don’t worry!

what if my kids don't coOperate?

I do not. In order to save time and keep the baby asleep throughout the entire session, I'll wrap the baby in a white swaddle at the start of the session. At the end of your session, I will slowly unwrap the baby and take photos of his/her hands and feet.
